A message to our patients regarding COVID – 19 and our efforts to combat and limit exposure to our patients and staff.
We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented situation. As you know COVID-19 community spread cases have been reported. La Loma is committed to keeping our staff and patients healthy.
Beginning March 23, we will be offering limited telehealth services. Please understand that not all visits will qualify for telehealth appointments.
Sonora Quest and Labcorp are currently providing testing for COVID-19. These tests MUST be ordered by your healthcare professional. You will need an appointment to receive testing. Please contact our office to schedule.
We are asking that all patients over the age of 60, or any patient scheduled for a sick visit be checked in from their car. Call our office upon your arrival. We will then call you when it is your turn.
We have divided our waiting room into a sick side and well side. We ask that if you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms such as, sore throat, cough, congestion, runny nose, or fever, that you please sit on the sick side of the waiting room.
Through the foreseeable future, we are advising that all well visits be scheduled in the morning or early afternoon. We will do our best to limit patients with respiratory symptoms to the late afternoon when practical.
We have dedicated several patient rooms for well visits. Please let our staff know if you are experiencing any Upper respiratory symptoms at check in.
Do not be alarmed if you see our staff wearing protective equipment. We are trying to remain healthy in order to continue to provide our patients with care during this unprecedented time.
