A message to our patients regarding COVID – 19 and our efforts to combat and limit exposure to our patients and staff.
We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented situation. As you know COVID-19 continues to spread throughout our county. La Loma is committed to keeping our staff and patients healthy and safe.
La Loma has put measures into place to help mitigate exposure. We have increased cleaning and disinfecting procedures in the waiting room and all high touch surfaces.
We have divided our waiting room into a sick side and well side. We have dedicated several patient rooms for well only visits. Patients are being prescreened for Covid-19 symptoms or exposure to someone with a positive Covid-19 test and are being scheduled accordingly.
Through the foreseeable future, we are advising that all well visits be scheduled in the morning or early afternoon. Patients experiencing an illness will be scheduled in the afternoon only. We ask that patients scheduled during this time wait in their vehicles until called to come in.
Medical staff will be wearing surgical masks during well visit time slots. Medical staff will be wearing full Personal Protection Equipment during sick visit time slots.
Stay Healthy. Stay Safe.
